What is the Hazard System?
The Hazard System is a progressive hunting mode that increases the difficulty of monsters in specific areas while improving rewards.
Each hunting area has its own hazard progression, allowing you to push the challenge as far as you can handle.
How to Access:
- The system applies to certain hunting zones across the world
- Use the command !hazardlevel [area], [level] to set your hazard level
- Example: !hazardlevel falcon, 15 — sets Falcon area to level 15
- You can lower or disable it anytime (level 0 disables hazard)
Core Mechanics:
- Each area has its own minimum and maximum hazard levels
- Defeating monsters unlocks higher hazard levels gradually
- You cannot set higher than your unlocked level
- In a party, the lowest hazard level among members applies to everyone
Monster Enhancements at Higher Levels:
- Critical Hits: monsters can deal critical strikes
- Dodge: monsters may evade attacks
- Damage Boost: monsters hit harder
- Defense Boost: monsters take less damage
Rewards:
- Increased loot drop rates and rare items
- Higher experience gains
- Special hazard-exclusive drops (e.g., Hazardous Heart, Hazardous Robe)
- High hazard levels can trigger special raids, portals, or bosses
Hazard Pods:
- Hazard monsters may drop Hazard Pods when killed
- Step on them at the correct time to claim rewards
- Failing the timing causes damage (20% HP + flat damage)
- Damage and rewards scale with your hazard level
Tips for Success:
- Start low (levels 1–3) until you understand the mechanics
- Bring extra supplies — higher hazard levels hit much harder
- Practice pod timing to maximize rewards
- Coordinate with your party so everyone sets the same hazard level
- Remember: you can always lower your level or disable hazard if it gets too dangerous
The greater the risk, the greater the reward — master the Hazard System!
